Clinic at-a-glance:

Designated a comprehensive teaching cancer center by the American College of Surgeons and the Commission on Cancer, St. Mary’s Regional Cancer Center provides an impressive array of radiation, medical and surgical oncology services. The facility is best known for its fully accredited radiation oncology program. It is the only facility in West Virginia equipped with the CyberKnife radiosurgery system. The system uses intelligent robotics and highly advanced tracking technology to target with sub-millimeter precision the types of tumors that once would have been difficult or even impossible to treat. This painless procedure involves no incisions and promises zero time in recovery. Support services include nutrition, palliative care, home care, spiritual counseling, group grief counseling, survival counseling, social worker visits and hospice care.
